Welcome to Lion's Head Insurance Brokers (PTY) Ltd. We are highly experienced short term insurance specialists who offer personalised and friendly service customised to your or your company's particular needs.

Lion's Head is an independent broker, which allows us to deal with the entire short term industry, in obtaining the best possible insurance to suit your needs. We undertake to treat you with the respect that you deserve.
We will:
- advise and source the best cover to suit each individual or company
- upgrade policies on a yearly basis
- provide personal assistance, when required
- help with claims & payment problems
Lion's Head started operations in May 1997 with Trevor Smith as the Managing Director. The company has grown since and in 2004, converted to a Proprietary Company, with Trevor as the Managing Director.
The rest of the staff compliment comprises Lameez Mallick, who is the Claims Administrator, Lauren McDonld, who attends to Administrative Functions of the office, and Audrey Pfister who is our receptionist and telephone operator.
Lions Head's portfolio has grown steadily since it began and today manages the insurance needs for about 1000 people and organizations. It is an independent brokerage with no outside investors.

Lauren Mcdonald
Originally from Pretoria Lauren moved to Cape Town in 2007.
She worked for Riverport in both the sales and underwriting departments when arriving here and has recently joined us.
She works in the engine of the business and her passion and drive is sure to see her succeed in whatever she tackles.
She is registered as a rep for Personal lines and hopefully in the future will be registered for commercial also.
By the way she also seems to have the "neatest" desk in Town.
Lameez Bassier
She has been with us for over 5 years starting in a junior clerical position.
As time has gone by she has proved to be a loyal and conscientious worker and as a result now "heads up" our claims division.
Like with any solid brokerage the claims division can be the most difficult and most important part of your operation, with her likeable persona and manner she is able to keep things in check.
In conjunction with Trev we "attack" each claim with vigour in the hope that we will get the result our clients need.
By the way she seems to have the most "colourful" desk in Town.
Audrey Pfister
She is the voice you hear when you phone in.
With her warm and sympathetic nature she is able to help us all cope no matter how stressful things become.
A vital cog in keeping our emotions in check.
